Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Regalia Global has taken, and continues to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or our supply chains.

Regalia Global is an international student recruitment company. We connect students from around the world with partner universities across Europe, Asia, and America. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Our Commitment

Regalia Global has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to:

• Acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
• Implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.
• Ensuring transparency in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our business and supply chains.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Regalia Global operates as an education recruitment intermediary. Our primary activities involve advising students, preparing applications, and liaising with partner universities. Our supply chain is limited and principally comprises:

• Partner universities and higher education institutions.
• Technology and software service providers.
• Professional service providers (legal, accounting, marketing).

We do not operate in sectors that are typically considered high risk for modern slavery, such as manufacturing, agriculture, or construction. However, we recognise that modern slavery can occur in any sector and remain vigilant.

Policies

We maintain internal policies that reflect our commitment to acting ethically and in accordance with the law. These include:

• Recruitment policy: we recruit staff fairly and transparently, in compliance with employment law, and do not use agencies that do not comply with our standards.
• Supplier due diligence: we take reasonable steps to assess the ethical standards of our suppliers and partners.
• Whistleblowing policy: we encourage staff to report any concerns about modern slavery or unethical conduct without fear of reprisal.

Due Diligence

As part of our efforts to monitor and reduce the risk of modern slavery occurring in our supply chains, we:

• Conduct due diligence on new university and supplier partners before entering into agreements.
• Include appropriate contractual provisions in agreements with partners requiring compliance with applicable laws, including those relating to modern slavery.
• Monitor our existing partnerships on an ongoing basis.

Student Welfare

Given the nature of our work with international students — many of whom may be vulnerable — we take particular care to ensure that our recruitment and placement practices do not expose students to exploitation. Specifically:

• We do not charge students fees for our placement services.
• We provide transparent information about the universities and programmes we recommend.
• We do not place students with institutions that we have reason to believe engage in exploitative practices.
• We encourage students to report any concerns about their treatment to us or to the relevant authorities.

Training and Awareness

We ensure that our staff are aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and understand how to identify and report concerns. We provide guidance to staff on recognising the signs of modern slavery and the steps to take if they suspect it is occurring.
